Confined Space Awareness

Course Description

This Confined Space Awareness course is an effective and interactive way to keep you and your employees up-to-date with Confined Space training requirements. This is considered a level 1 course. A training certificate is issued and emailed to the Account Supervisor upon completion. 

 

The course covers:

Confined Space Introduction & Regulations 

Hazards of a Confined Space

Pre-entry Requirements, including:

Confined Space Program

Hazard Assessment & The Entry Plan

Training Requirements & Record Keeping

Entering a Confined Space, including:

The Entry Permit & On-site Rescue

Energy / Materials Isolation & Control

Atmospheric Safety & Ventilation

Interactive exercises, tests & certificate

 

Who Should Take this Course?

Every worker who is likely to enter a confined space or who performs related work.

 

What is Required?

A computer with an internet connection is required.

Runtime: Approx. 2 hours

 

If you would like to enroll in the course contact Haylee at haylee.dhillon@shaw.ca , she will email you a login & password. Once you have completed the course she will print & laminate your certification for you wallet.
